Lab Connectivity Test

Tenable University labs require access to specific outbound ports to interact with our products in the lab environment. Each product box will display test results for the required outbound port connectivity.

PLEASE NOTE: Some lab systems have self-signed certificates to prevent private key leakage. Specifically on systems where a student has root-level access. Please open lab links in an incognito/private browsing window in order to bypass this warning.


Outbound port required: 443

  • Specialist and Expert level classes
  • Cyber Exposure Workshops
  • Some additional classes (Custom, Onsite, etc)
  • Used for TenableCore and Tenable.ad RDP access

  • If any product shows an incompatibility, it is likely your network administrator has blocked outbound access to the required port. Please contact your helpdesk for guidance.
